Mother Nature has been kind to North East so far and check out what we have to get you through the next two months.

Ukes! Ukes! Ukes!  Come take the edge of winter with a Hawaiian uke workshop with Drew Danielsontomorrow, February 18 at 1 p.m. at Todd's Musical Petting Zoo 5 W Main St.  If you and your children haven’t visited The Zoo,  there is a video of Drew playing uke with Lori Burke athttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_ikCMdsZZ4 .  Lori, Drew and Don Wisniewski are all part of the All Erie Folk Concert and jam to follow the uke workshop at North East’s newest musical gathering spot.

The North East Community Players have scheduled auditions for their Spring production -- The Broom & The Groom  -- Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 6pm and Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7 pm. Come out and try your talent on the stage.

Open Studio is Friday March 9th from  7-9 pm.

If you are in Jamestown within the next few weeks be sure to check out the free "Women Create"exhibit at the 3rd on 3rd Gallery. Hours are 10 am-4 pm Monday-Friday through March 30


The NEAC with support from Arts Erie will host a series of five Photography Workshops by local professionals. The events will kick off on March 31 from 9-11 am with A Guide to Taking Better Photos by John Fonteccio, staff photographer at Penn State Behrend.  The series will continue in May, June, August, and September - with culminating art show in October at the NEAC.
